Cam and Groove couplings, also referred to as Camlocks, Kamlocks, & Quick Disconnects, are one of the most widely-used form of industrial connector in the field today. Most commonly, they are found in water suction & discharge applications, as well as petroleum products, dry material, food and beverage, and chemical applications. Sizes range from ½”, to 8”, and are available in a variety of materials. Aluminum is our biggest seller, but we also offer them in brass, stainless, ductile iron, polypropylene, and nylon glass, as well as the following configurations:

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the nylon and polypropylene materials for camlock fittings. Application is low pressure air (10″ w.g.) and vacuum (5″ w.g.) and an abusive industrial environement. Any cost advantages to nylon and polypropylene over AL, CS, SS?

As far as cost comparisons, the aluminum is almost always the most economical with the polypropylene following closely. The carbon steel takes a step up in price and stainless is usually the most expensive until you start considering high end specialty alloys (i.e. monel, hastelloy, etc.).
I am looking for a 6″ type “DC” dust cap made of pPVC also a 6″ PVC pipe cap.

All that we would have in a 6″ dust cap would be aluminum brass or stainless steel. Can you use any of those for your application?
I am looking for a cam and groove fitting. 8″ female cam X 6″ male cam
(jump size coupler X adapter) in aluminum. also looking for a 8″ lever operated
gate valve similar to a betts industries valve.
We can definitely help you with that. The first thing we need to know is what brand the 8″ camlock fitting is.
All the different brands interchange up to 6″, but when you get to 8″ there are different styles. We can get them for you no matter what, but we need the brand before we can give you price and availability.
