Hi –
I need a reduction fitting (or fittings) that will take a 3-inch discharge hose (from a trash pump) down to 1 (or 1.5) inches, so I can attach a smaller hose to the big fat blue one. The fitting on the end of the 3-in. hose has male screw threads, so I think I need a F-M fitting. Using multiple fittings to accomplish this would be OK. Metal preferred but not essential.
I’m mentioning both 1- and 1.5-inch hose because I haven’t yet decided which size to use. It’s a coin-toss at this point.
That’s definitely something we can do for you. We have reducing couplings that go from 3″ to 1-1/2″. If you needed to go down further to 1″ we could simply supply a bushing to thread into the reducing coupling.
