Amazon Hose and Rubber Company works with several antique car owners and car enthusiasts who work on their own cars. A recent customer changed an engine in his car which required him to change out his AC system from two coolant lines to one line. The customer wanted to use his existing parts and came to the Amazon Hose Service Center to consult with our hose experts on the best way to accomplish this task. In the photo below you can see the fittings the customer wanted to keep and fabricate a new AC line. Amazon Hose used the Continental ContiTech Galaxy brand for this new hose line.
Our Amazon Hose expert used one fitting from each used hose for coupling on the one new hose. This custom solution enabled the customer to connect his AC line for his new engine. He was extremely happy with the outcome and the convenience of “while you wait” walk-in service.
